The Frontcountry Bed 20 Duo is perfect for all the glamping and car camping couples out there. Based on Sierra Designs Backcountry Bed, this bag offers the same zipless comfort but has a roomier shape and synthetic insulation, keeping you cosy all night long. With a half mat sleeve on the back of the bag simply tuck your double sleeping mat inside, giving you a bed-like structure so you can sleep comfortably on your back, side or stomach, or change positions without waking each other up, just as if you were sleeping in your very own bed. The oversized blanket can be used on the outside of the bag, or tucked inside on cooler evenings. And with its arm and hand pockets you can tuck yourself in to enjoy a draft-free night. If you find you’re too warm, make the most of the cleverly-designed hands-free foot vent, allowing you to simply raise your knee and then stick your toes out of the bottom of the bag.

• Maybe it’s no wonder that the state of California has been the cradle for so many great American outdoor brands. Sandwiched between the Pacific Ocean and the Sierra Nevada mountains, and encompassing no less than nine US National Parks, the Golden State has long been a mecca for outdoor adventurers of every ilk. Sierra Designs is a case in point. California was the natural place for the brand’s co-founders, a pair of young outdoor aficionados named George Marks and Bob Swanson, to set up shop.

  They first met in late 1963 at while working at The Ski Hut in Berkeley, CA. Two years later, Sierra Designs was born. Today, the brand continues to create outdoor equipment and apparel that is functional, beautiful, and most importantly, attainable, enabling outdoor lovers throughout the USA and beyond to hit the trail and fill their souls with a sense of wanderlust.
